Der Kurzfilm ist angelehnt an psychologische Aspekte des Märchens „Der Eisenofen“ der Brüder Grimm. Dabei wir nicht jeder Aspekt explizit behandelt. Vielmehr werden die dem Märchen zugrunde liegenden psychischen Aspekte durch eine Performance des schwedischen Künstler Niclas Hallberg transformiert. Eine Auflösung findet hier nicht statt, sondern bestenfalls eine Beschreibung des Status quos.
